Invasion 1984 - Storm Squad

Post by Claymore »

Giant Alien spaceships appear over the earth they quickly prove to be hostile devastating cities around the world, in desperation the last remnants of the military launch a nuclear attack only to find the ships have an impenetrable force field.

Can anything prevent the destruction of the human race, find out in Independence Day ---- OH WAIT A MINUTE this is not a 1996 film it's a 1983 comic strip from battle comic .

Invasion: 1984 was one of my favorites. I never understood why it wasn't so popular. Good story, great art.... pure BAF.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

Totally agree, this and Charley's War really grabbed me as a youngster.
The disease spreading, the futility of fighting, the disintegrating lasers, the bleak existence, the fact that the main characters kept dying... frightening stuff for an 8 year old.
Nah, you can stuff your Fists of Fury and Truck Turpin - Invasion 1984 was the shizzle.
A crime it is not more widely praised.
