I don't think this has already been done but unfortunately a lot of old forum post pictures have dead links. So here is my Z Force Series upgrade using all genuine Z Force parts, with no painting or rivet removals which allows for reassembly, due to the expensive components. Hoping to use them for dynamic action shots in future Dioramas, where they can help play the leading character roles.
Z Force Infantry
Z Force Sapper
Z Force Radio Operator

Great work. Just how Palitoy would have done it.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!
Re: Z Force Series Upgrade
Added Z Force Commander, Minesweeper and Medic
Looking for a nice matching olive green paint as may redo the Commander, using the same parts as my prototype Black Major.

That is cool. What is your Black Major recipe?

Re: Z Force Series Upgrade
Black Major parts ->
1) Hunter's arms with hands painted black (Red Laser or Cobra Officer/Stinger driver arms)
2) Hardball's chest painted black
3) SAS Stalker's crotch or any other similar painted black
4) Frostbite's upper legs (one of the only figures who has legs without weapons/pockets) painted black
5) Doc's lower legs/shoes painted black
Minesweeper uses Bazooka's arms and Medic uses Bazooka's chest and Doc's crotch
Also been trying a Red Shadow (white bits photoshopped in for now as haven't painted him yet, since all I currently have is 1 Tamiya black paint and the Mrs' white nail polish and my trusty red sharpie, that I recoloured those faded Roboskull wing tip guns with, hehe) 1) Ripcord's chest
2) Red Laser's arms
3) Frostbite's upper legs
4) Red Laser's lower legs
5) Spirit's crotch as only figure without a belt, so making RS with detachable webbing and another with moulded grenades and webbing but that means venturing into the world of moulding custom parts (just reading about Blue/Green Stuff & Milliput Vs Silicon & plastic resin casting - so all advice will be welcomed). Webbing is made from Radio operator's backpack straps and fastens at the back, combined with small pouches cut from from the regular backpack.
Planning on using Shipwreck's modified chest (remoulding collar) for Capt Campbell/Radio Operator and have Rock N Roll's but even better Crossfire 2001 V1 double bandolier chests, to paint and add grenades on for Sapper/SAS Commando/Minesweeper/Sea Skimmer chests. Also got these GI Joe divers for Q Force and SAS Frogmen conversions
