Action Force Convention Bixset?

Post by The Baron »

Newbie dsn1014 has just posted a great suggestion: viewtopic.php?f=135&t=13952&p=172153#p172153

I'm hoping we can work with the GI Joe Collectors Club to recolour the recent Hasbro five-point-articulation figures as an Action Force boxset! Wouldn't that be amazing?

I've dropped Dave Tree a line, does anybody else have any avenues? I could ask Bob Brechin to create some bios and we could also work with Marauders Inc for accessories.

My suggestions for colour schemes are:

Please share your thoughts! I've moved the discussion thread to a Members Only section for now.

I want to make this happen!

you know me as honest as i can be and a realist, it won't happen as there is no commercial value to the collectors club in doing the project, ask yourself how many will be sold and in answer to that not enough for the club to consider. as much as i love the 5 point articulated figures i think it would be an insult to the palitoy era as these figures are sh*t.

it is of course entirely up to you guys what you attempt to do but you'd be better of trying to customize the figures yourselves using crayons, i am aware of the negativity of this post for that i apologise.

Not at all, Ed! It occurred to me that it would just as cool an idea for a customs project only this morning. :)

To be honest, I'm just glad to be back at the helm and feeling inspired again.

And in what way in Hell is that first figure sh*t? He'd make an awesome Shadow / Space Force / Zargonite!

It still hurts my eyes to see "Bixset" instead on "Boxset" in the title ;)
