There will be other wild cards that affect G.I. Joe and Cobra's clashes during "World War III." G.I. Joe fans know that there's another organization lurking out there that hates both Cobra and G.I. Joe and has been keeping very quiet as of late. "The Red Shadows have a specific, long range plan," Powers said. "Whether current events force them to alter those plans remains to be seen..."

if we are going to get our beloved RED SHADOW CHARACTERS BACK we need to voice our opinion over at the Devils Due boards NOW ( well as soon as it comes back up LOL )

I would love to start a petition but I dont know how that will go. What I would like to do is start a thread over at the Devils Due Boards and have everyone post that they want the same but before I do that and possibly embarrass myself, if you want more of the original shadow characters brought back

Please Post a simple ME TOO or I AGREE in this post

now WHY does this interest us.

please note the red and silver guy , he is a foreign character from Brazil called the Cobra Mortal ( Immortal )

and he has a smaller fan base than AF does and if he can get into the comic then SO CAN THE RED SHADOWS that we all know of BUT ONLY IF WE MAKE OUR VOICES heard !!

I truly believe we can get some of our favorite RED SHADOWS back into the book and a whole new genration but its going to take everyone on this board to help out !!

I agree about this. I too have had my teeth pulled out over at Panini comics uk forum by squabbling kids who think they know more than you just because they have just started to read comics.

i would like to see them back, the mortal is a cool character to add but the af has such a diverse lineup i think it would be a great move by dd , but we still have the red dawn comic you led me too.

so with the latest blurb saying that the joes must find the enemy who has the keys to stop cobra commander I cant help but think that maybe this is the RED SHADOWS coming into future issues especially after re-reading this interview

Im on record both here and elsewhere that Im all for this idea.

However, rather than the DDP Bastardisation, Id like to see teh Black Major back in charge of teh Shadows, with Red Laser 2 i/c.

Also- bring back the Jerry/bucket helmets rather than those facemasks and Ill be a happy man.

while I do like the DDP RED SHADOW characters and troopers I also really really want to see the original guys back in charge too!

The black major
red laser
red vulture and
baron Iron Blood at least

and ya the troops in thier original german WWII type uniforms need to come back

funny thing is those red trenchcoats would still be good if they just put them on over thier german suits maybe as an updated Red Vulture look so the troops and him dont look exactly the same or something LOL

but in any case our petition says bring back the original guys ( along side the DDP guys ) so if you havent signed it please do!

we want the originals back!!
