Just started collecting again!

Post by Draven »

After about 20 years of wondering where on Earth all my Palitoy AF stuff has gone (I did have a near complete set, but all I have now is a few little things), I decided a few weeks ago to start collecting everything I had when i was a kid.
So far, I'm doing fairly well:

The Sealion is easily one of the best original UK AF vehicles ever designed. It's got gimmicks all over the place!
And:

I built the Roboskull. Man, it was just like being a kid again (except this time round, I trimmed the stickers so they fit properly ;) )

Superb shot, man! Love it.

If you're up for it, we're trying to get a complete set of the original sticker sheets scanned for the site, could you help please?

PS. Would love to know who came up with the Roboskull idea, Palitoy or CPG head honchos or what?

I always thought it was based on the Starwars Tie Fighter.... Which to be fair added extra fighter power fer the shadows....

If anyone could shed any light tho it would be great

Im far from an expert, but it was based off of the TIE fighter.
My guess would be that someone took the mould and remodelled it.
Dunno who though.
btw- I agree great pics.
And nice to see you bought the best two vehicles from the line- The Roboskull and Sealion.

Good photos were did you get the Roboskull from apart from the Hyena that is the only Shadow thing I would like to have I am far from impressed with the Kraken and Skeletron.
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?
