I've had a complaint about Skyline. He's long been troublesome, many of you will recall the bitter row between him and 80stoyshopr in this forum a couple of years back: viewtopic.php?p=89056#p89056 He's rubbed me and others up the wrong way a few times over the years to the point where he left for ages.

He has a -3 (of 6) feedback, the worst on BFTB. The buyer may be panicking prematurely, it has only been few days but he's not replied to any PMs. I have a disclaimer in place for the Trade forum, but I'm considering a new policy; forum banning/suspension for members with -5 feedback or something.

Any ideas?

I ordered figs of skyline ages ago then came across the negative feedback.
Had a bit of a shitfit as I'd ordered a lot of items and sent the money through Paypal as a gift.
Although items finally arrived it took a lot of messages, at 1 point he said he didn't have money to post even though I sent postage.
Like I said I finally got items but would never order from him again.

I agree that if feedback is poor the member should at least be barred from the trade section.

Doh! Wish I'd thought to check before i bought some Lego minifigs off him!!!

I've had a message saying they're on their way though, so benefit of the doubt so far. And if I dont get them I'll sue him for my £30 quid back, just for a laugh!

I have asked about the 3-pack I bought and was told that he mailed a lot of stuff on Saturday/Monday so we will just see how much actually arrives ;) I know Graham_UK is a bit worried about a lot of stuff he just bought from the guy.

I had about 2 years ago bought a MOC Medic from him for 25 pounds and was told it was shipped. I made a thread and nothing was ever done. he called me a liar and a scammer. I am currently in a deal with him and remembered him when he said his name was dan. also i remember him being fast to reply while working a deal. but once money has been send you dont hear from him at all. he has 10 complete mutons i want to buy but i think i am going to pass on this as this guy seems to be very sour. is there anyway to have a system in place that blocks ip's from banned or shady members.

Yeah Rene Graham and i have been talking about this issue as well and i hope dan comes thru on this issue. Does anyone know his address

Banned members do have their IPs blocked, but anyone can register with a fresh e-mail from an internet cafe :( Unfortunately he's never warranted a forum warning, let alone three.

But saying that, I was offline during the row with 80stoyshop, by the time I logged in he had wiped all of his comments, for all I know he may well have earned hmiself three strikes in that time.

I think a policy of 5 negatives and you're out will work, he has 3 already. Unless anybody objects or has a better idea?

I'd not go so far as to ban him - we're all pretty open minded and stuff, and the mroe posts the better is my view! Unless he screws folks over on trades or something this time around, then I say we unleash the hounds...
