My Series 1

Post by redrage »

Just thought I'd try and start my collections thread as it got culled in the recent losses.

First GW Acrylics cases and the US Paratrooper

Nice, this brings back happy memories of buying the Paratrooper on a family holiday to Devon in c.1982. I had many happy hours throwing him up in the air and watching him come in to land. In fact, thinking about it, I have a feeling the only Series 1s I had new were this, the German Stormtooper and British Marine. Everything else Series 1 came second hand from the indoor market in Orpington (my mum picked up a load I think, including the cardboard HQ).

LOvely stuff. Those cases are braw. I put mine in to the cases the other day.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Your pairs obsession is crazy! But fun! They look awesome dont they! I've only got a few of mine into the cases so far, but they really make them look spot on!

For reference for anyone asking Christian for them, they are seemingly called a ADC25.

I can't wait to have a single minesweeper!

Looking forward to the mountain and arctic pair picture myself!
