Don't Throw Stones At Glass Cabinets

Post by gung-hoeddie »

I need some help, I have a desire to purchase a nice glass shop type counter for display, however it needs to be a flat pack so I can get it upstairs, any ideas as to where I can get one?

ikea used to have some pretty good ones but last time I looked they were pretty small.

when you say counter do you mean the type with a till on? like in the af advert? or a tall free standing one?

I think you might struggle then if its flatpacked you need.

freecycle have had some on in my area but these tend to be ex shop display ones sometimes in good condition.

have you thought about asking for one to be made for you? i use a couple of different websites for tradespeople where you can describe what you want and they will quote for it.

Years ago I googled retail fittings suppliers, so that's worth a try if you haven't. I think that sort of thing is pretty expensive, so TKW's sugestion of finding someone to make something bespoke could work out as the best option
