Reminds of pretty much every forgettable, cliche ridden horror film that comes out these days. Although, I'm glad they're doing some new things whilst also adding the best bits of the original, unlike the Nightmare On Elm Street remake. Still, I think a remake was unnecessary but it could turn out OK in the end.

I was surprised as well when the guy didn't say Klaatu Barade Nikto. Bruce Campbell is producing the film so never say never about a cameo...

He's not listed in the cast on imdb as being in it, only producing it and I think he said on Twitter he's not in it.
