Figure stands...
I am looking for transparent figure stands. Who can recommend me a cheap, but solid online seller?
Meertoh recently recommended this brand, can't vouch for the seller, but all of the hunting I've done seems to come to the same sort of price.

Re: Figure stands...
Does anybody remember which stands are Action Force compatible? Is it the Vintage Star Wars line?
Re: Figure stands...

I always buy stands from ebay seller 'toyhob'
Item number: 380017657204
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0017657204
They are the exact same as the vintage star wars stands that came in with the playsets and also the same as the stands that were part of the Action Force Weapons packs.
They are actually a tiny bit too big for the hole in AF figure feet, but they fit on ok with a careful push.

What a great auction! It doesn't say how many stands you're buying!
I've tried the vintage ones, and they were more like GI Joe size, there's a risk of splitting the heel if you force them, plus they always get a little bit stretched and then o longer work on the vehicle pegs.
It is the Protech Modern Star Wars, I found the old thread.

Yeah those stands do stretch and sometimes split the heels of the figures.
I find it odd that Palitoy didn't use the same size holes in the feet as with star wars [and gi joe] figures of the time.
Seeing that AF figures were a direct response and copy in every way to the star wars figures and made by the same company, it always seems a bit strange that the footholes were a different size when everything else was the same.
To make things even more silly, Palitoy added the star wars stands in with all the weapons packs.
Perhaps Palitoy wanted the kids to damage the heels of the figures so that they'd buy replacements - my cynical mind...
