I just bought a mint quarrel that was loose from GI JOE HQ! WHOO HOOO this is one fig that I have always wanted and now I got it in the mail

I have Quarrel, Red Jackal, Stalker & Dolphin.. I am working towards the others in a timely manner

Cool capture btw.. Quarrel is a great figure to own.

ya this is the one i have been wanting for a long long time, the other two that I would really like to get a hold of is Jammer and Guacho

this new comic coloring project we got going it really kicked started me back up on action force

funny thing is DDPs red Shadows story is what kicked started me on all of this so love it or hate it, it brought me in as a fan

I just won a second quarrel LOL now I have one in package still and one mint and loose!

on one hand I am a glad I got another one for a good price but on the other I am saying UGH! why did I bid on a second one LOL

oh well its a good figure to have

now if I could just get a hold of Red laser Jammer and Guacho LOL

Personally, I find that around 30 dollars overpriced, but perhaps these are normal prices nowadays. Luckily most of my Action Force figures, including Quarrel, were dropped of by Santa during several X-mases when I was little, so I never paid a single dime! All I had to do is be a good boy!

Secondly, I don't trust Curtis from GIJoeHQ anymore. A while ago he was caught shill-bidding on eBay. This was reported on YoJoe, Curtis went berserk and denied the whole thing, he started threathening YoJoe, big cover-up, people wanted to know the truth and demanded that the information was put back online, finally Curtis admitted his crimes. I thought I was the only person who had probs with GIJOEHQ!

recently I bought stuff from Kurt, and part of the vehicle was missing, although the price/details reflected a complete loose vehicle. I was a bit miffed, but asked politely if there had been a packaging error, the reply I got was not particulary friendly, to the point where I wondered if he was actually misrepresenting items he was selling.

Before this incident I had spent quite a bit of hard earned cash quite happily at the HQ, and had been happy with the service. Kurt was always someone you could email and bargain stuff down. But since the Ebay thing, and that his other store for PTE has dissappeared, I think times are obviously hard for Kurt. You can also see that on some other boards where someone queries the HQ, he is quick to make some sarcastic comment, and I wonder if that's what he'll do here?

This is all a real shame, because as most of us live on the other Island, the HQ was one of the best sources for loose joe items.

Anyone else had any recent issues?
