Read Deadpool Classic,New Mutants last issues of volume one if not in deadpool classic,x-force volume one,all limited series and ongoing series Kraken the film will be totally different to the original comics for one thing he doesn't have any adamantium in him but he does have a healing factor

Deadpool is another product of the Weapon X programme which gave Wolverine his adamantium skeleton. he's a smart-mouth merc who had cancer and was given a healing factor like Wolverine's to cure him. this left him scarred and rather unhinged. the only traits shared by Wade Wilson in the movie and the comics are a smart mouth and a proclivity for using pair katanas.
