Didn't the blind swordsman have the same armor he would later use as Tri-Klops? (sans the helmet, of course)

Yep, and that was f*cking retarded. The 200X comics really missed the point of characters before their upgraded versions. Tri Klops wouldn't have had the armor before the helmet because in 200X both he and Trap Jaw's armour either powered their helmets/ arms, so there would be no point having them before the other. Trap jaw is even more retarded, he had his shoulder harness that is actually part of his mech arm before he had the mech arm. Dumb.
By the way, you know it is very rude to always try and pick flaws in my stuff without ever saying anything positive?
