OK....so I have figured out that the Coastal Defender and the Awe Striker released in the UK were also done in a brighter "Z-Force" green than the olive drab versions released here in the States.
The mere fact that a flamethrower even exists is proof that someone once said to themselves: "You know, I'd like to set that guy over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough".

I am not sure if this is any interest to you or not but I have an Action Force Whirlwind in the G.i. Joe colours they released it in the Action Force international heroes era.
