It's rarely just 50p though - it's just that's the bid increment. Winner couldve bid a good few quid more, but it only just goes up by next increment. I always used to think that and get really annoyed!

Sorry Sundance, that was me.

I just can't get enough of those Night-Vipers. Steve is right, though. It wasn't just 50p. I Think my max bid was something like £14.76.

I have one I am more than happy to sell for a Pound less than Baron paid for his - takign account of inflation and all that's a real bargain!
I paid £50 for a Rock & Roll. It was one of the last figures I needed to complete series 3, and none came along for about a year, so when I saw one in an auction bulk lot I guessed he was worth about as much as Dolphin, Moondancer et al, and offered the seller £50 to pull him from the bulk lot. Which he did. I was happy at the time. Until a few weeks later when the market was flooded with them and I felt obliged to buy them all to justify my having previously paid over the odds for him (they were, in my eyes, "bargains!"). I'm still not sure if I was happy or sad when I got one for £3.20, as not sure if it was a real bargain, or made it apparent that my first one was a tad OTT!

OUCH. Most expensive I have is probably Blades v2. Him and his copter cost me around $80 because of the stock market crash. damned AUD took a dive at the time of the last convention.
I spent nearly 2 years putting Duke together and he would have cost me twice as much as just buying him, but he's one of my proudest achievements.
BTW Steve, I have put together a Snow Patrol (heh) group and should really take pics, they look cracking. Stalker has been Zed'ed too. I was just standing looking at my troops, haven't had time to in quite awhile. Man Action Force is cool

I'd say that's a fair price, because of the complete minesweeper...
