TRU have got the Trek figures down to a similar price, play sets are much cheapness too.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

ROC figures are now under £4 in Asda, so I presume they're also available for next to nothing on eBay etc. I was going to keep an eye out for them in Buyology in the coming months but alas, it'll be gone soon :-( They had the Indinana Jones Akator playset for £8 just after Christmas. All the Dr Who 6" figures have gone, apart fro
pig-faced Laslo, and most of the Transformers have been cleared out too.

Doe's any know if Playmates released a 3" Capt Pike figure? Despite being pictured on the packaging & looking everywhere I've never seen one.

ROC has vanished over here now and unsurprisingly World Peacekeeper toys are back on our shelves.

I like the World Peacekeepers line, O.K. so the figures are bad but some of the vehicles are ace, & how many soldier lines have horses & camels for the men to ride into battle on?

The only Pike I've seen in that scale looks like a TOS Pike rather than the 2009 movie Pike, though admittedly I haven't looked that hard

Well it was actually Barnsley! But that saves you ten miles or so paul! And it's very rare to get free beaver in Barnsley - you usually have to at least shell out two quid for a Bacardi breezer. And if you're unlucky pay child maintenance for 16 years.

My old secretary once had me in stitches telling me about one of her mates who tried to take, in total, 3 different blokes to court one after each other to prove parentage of her kid! After three unsuccessful attempts the court basically said no more! The secretarys description of it?? "she went to the party and became the party!"
