The Ad-mag is always worth a look too. Racking seems to be a lot harder to find than it used to be, I did find a set at a 2nd-hand office furniture shop. There's also a thing called Freecycle I've heard of but not used.

i got my cabinets from a solicitors that was being refurbished.
Wow! They ever actually do that???? My place just paints over the woodchip every few decades! It's almost smooth again now!

Good advice though Bill - I was originally after ex-shop cabinets as they tend to be very high quality and very cheap but I lost patience as all of them I kept seeing on Ebay were too far away.

I'm hearing you on that one Boss - before my settled down days I used to sometimes struggle to get my hands on any sort of nice racks. Certainly without getting slapped!

And then I moved to Yorkshire....

All we wanted was a chest of drawers, went in went up into the display bit walked around chose said chest of drawers all was well, then we tried to find the warehouse part, went down in the lift due to no escalater (only the going up one available) got no where so we went back up the escalater and then back down in the lift, then back up the escalater and then back down in the lift, we ended up walking through the wrong way back through the checkout area, got to where the chest of drawers were meant to be after having a fight over a useable trolley to find that they had run out! I f*cking hate ikea now it upsets me. Anyway, thanks steve for the link thats given me something to look at thats not ikea.
thats your "bad" experience? i have worse experiences shopping over here on a weekly basis! the ikea here is a nightmare, school kids go there after school to sit on the comfy display seats & play f*cking psp!
am i the only person who f#%king hates psp's? maybe im just getting old but im always telling people to turn the damn sound off when they sit next to me on the bus & dont use f#%king headphones!
