welcome aboard, don't be shy in expressing your opinions round here, prob make alot more sense than those of us who do
your hardcovers look fantastic, were you not tempted though to put a pic of a character on the spines?

Thanks guys!
That's a good question, Puma. I really like the Joe logo stamped on the spine, and since the dies aren't cheap, I was only willing to pay to make one. So the logo got the nod.
One of these days, I might make some dustjackets for them all, and I've considered lots of artistic ways to make them stand out. My previous dustjackets have been made to look more or less like the Marvel Omnibus style. However, I've thought about making them for the Joe collection so that when they are all on a shelf, they make one big photo, or maybe one individual character on each one so that they are distinct. Lots of possibilities there!

that's a neat idea, would you still have to see the logos through the jacket? I'd go for some sort of montage of some core characters along with some favourites

No, the dustjackets are printed on a thick, semi-gloss paper. None of the foil stamps would show through. Much like the HC's you purchase, most have some kind of design or writing underneath the dustjacket.
I haven't decided which would look best. Just for my taste, I like the look of the foil logos, but I know some kind of grand design would be really neat too.
