Is everyone playing the "silent game"??

Oh, and once I do get sorted I plan on totally resurrecting my "SteveD's Other Collections" thread. And perhaps doing some updated collection pics !

Well get on with it, Dawson. I hope the Cossy got a run over summer at least.

Thoughts are with you and Emma, Paul. Know a bit of what you're going through.

As for me I have a money pit of a house that it seems as soon as I have one room ready then the first I statred on seems dated and needs changing. Still got loads to do in the garden as well. Work has been quiet busy and one week in six I do a call out.
I feel like I'm constantly saying this but I have about 6 or 7 customs nearly finished but just missing the odd last touch or part. I really need to get a background sorted for photo display as my photography skills are lacking.
Must admit as well that I have been wondering about where Eddie and Annie are?

I got a new X-box 360 and have been re-enacting plus still collecting 25th anniversary style Joe figures other than that I haven't had much to say. I have done a few customs but I know the new style figures aren't to everyones liking so I don't post them.

Exactly, don't worry about pleasing everyone, just do what makes you happy.

Go for it!

Ive been lurking as trying to get the attic room sorted. A few weeks ago the internet was down for a while and then all my family met up for a while at my sisters in some tiny village in Suffolk where there was no 3g or even 2g.

Had a great time but when we got back heard that my Mum had a potentially serious health issue but thankfully, at the moment, all appears to be ok.

Anyway, im kind of back, looking forward to getting the rest of my stuff up in the attic room, finishing some customs and attending Roll Call! Whoop!

Sorry to hear your news Paul & hope things work out at work Travis.

As for the summer drop-off, been rather busy myself the last weeks, now my agent's pointing me towards the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Also wondered how much of the action has moved over to the BFTB and All the Cool Stuff's Facebook pages in the last couple of months.

I've actually been playing the Crying Game. I don't want to talk about it.

Yep, I'm back - although nursing a mighty hangover today!! Give me a few days to catch-up on posts and updates etc. not to mention the delayed COTM. The move went well, and Saturday's moving-in party was truly epic!

Now for the news, this year has been a disaster for me personally, a very bad relationship went worse and I've spent the best part of the year worried sick about my ex. It's all ruined now, but unfortunately I have not had the time to devote to the Collector's Guide book. It won't be ready for the convention, for which I am sorry.

I hope to get a digital version ready ASAP to tide over customers, but I guess I'll have to eat the refunds for anyone who wants one - the money has been invested in the Skeletron figures whihc I can confirm will be available on the day. I also have some very nice posters in the pipeline, available in A3, A2 and A1 sizes. Please don't discuss this anywhere but the Elite fourm until I have caught up with things.

I'll also be announcing details for the Collected Edition BAF books I was working on, having spoken to Dave we both agree that presenting these at RORC may be unwise if Hasbro and IDW have a presence, we never did find out who owns the copyrights to the comics, it may be Rebellion or IPC Media or Titan or... So they'll be a BFTB Elite perk for the time being. ;)

And it's just occurred to me that the 8th of October will be the 30th Anniversry of BAF! Any thoughts for a celebration? It's a bit late in the day for a prize-draw like the 25th, but we may be able to do a similar sort of secret santa type thing? Any suggestions?

Sorry for the absense, abnormal service will be resumed eventually.
