Me, too. A mate's mum gave me his old one when some toerag nicked my Falcon Pro. Compared to the Falcon it was like riding an old Victorian bedstead.
Grifter was superb! Like the Austin Princess-built like a brick shithouse.
How many of you found slip-gear going up hill and cracking your nuts on the crossbar!!!

Yup I remember that all too well. The stand on mine was slightly defective in that it never went all the way up, it was a real pain in the arse. Also remember getting my jeans stuck in the chain and falling off in front of all of my mates.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Mine had one of them old fashioned style dynamo lights fitted to it...brilliant if you were going fast, but went off the moment you stopped moving. Must of clocked up many hundreds of miles over the years, & recreating episodes of Junior Kick Start in the back garden, then progressed to a Raleigh Memphis moutain bike with an amazing 18 speeds of fun.
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

That looks like one of the best knock-off's ever!
Mind you, the manufacturer must of gone out of business...two film companies suing for copy right infringement
It is what it says in the picture: Space Fighter. It comes from the Star Bird range. I only have the Avenger, twice. This was made in 1979, two years after Star Wars and when Galactica was on television. So yes, indeed a very strange, but cool cross-breeding. The front of the Avenger looks like the Galactica, the end part reminds me of an X-wing. All in all, it's cool and it's electronic like Big Trak!
