Hi gang,
Had my 1st real 'lucky find of the year' @ the car-boot today , this magnificent old Corgi Toys fire engine for only £7.50 :-D

admittedly it's been played with, but the child who owned it must of been very gentle, as it's in really nice condition with very few chips &..

Apart from being a bit tatty around the edges, the box is all present & correct..and is definitely the reason the engine's in such well preserved condition.

That is a creacking find mate well done!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Very good find with a box and in that condition. I've never really seen anything like that at a car boot, not as far as I remember anyway. I've been finding the recent car boots a bit slow on the buying front, but then I had some early successes and there's always the next one . . . :-D

I think its the name of the company who produced the hydraulic platform for the vehicle, with Bedford being the maker of the chassis...as a child, for years, I thought that our bin lorry was actually called Dennis  , not realising it was the brand name of the truck manufacturer
