Red Wolf - was this a good price or not?

Post by the enemy muton »

Just picked this up on ebay tonight; I really like the look of this figure and am happy with the price I paid, but was just wondering what others think as I know less than nothing about modern AM and it would be helpful to know what the going rate is if (read: when) I pick a few more characters up.

Hey, if you're happy, don't worry about us. I asked the same kind of question a while ago when someone told me I made a bad trade. I was happy with the trade, got what I wanted and got rid of some stuff I didn't, so don't worry about it.

Personally, I usually don't buy MIB figures as I open them for display. I don't care for the colors of this version of Red Wolf & I already have a Kayak I have no use for.

Is the other Red Wolf you refer to the one which is bare chested with the eagle? I saw a picture of that on the net when looking for AM info; I agree that one was nicer, but this one just reminded me of the VAM Indian and Canoe I had as a kid :-D .

No, the other one I've seen is like yours, except the arms were grey & no red in the hair. Can you post a link to the one you're referring to? I think there were only 3 versions of Red Wolf made.

No probs; I'll find it again and post a link. Maybe it was a custom then?

Perhaps. The only 3 I'm aware of the 1st version (which I will soon have from a trade), 2nd version that I believe is the one you are referring because I think he did come with an eagle, but I thought it was the same body mold, and the 3rd one you just bought. I've tried to find a current site that has kept track of the current run of figures, but the only one I keep finding is
http://members.aon.at/susa/susa.htm
and it hasn't been updated in 7 years.
