Danke Herr Baron. I have the 1982 Starlord annual, I never new until recently that was his birthplace. One of my favourite stories too. Haven't read any in years.

I found this feature in my copy of the Rogue Trooper 1991 annual, comparing the old & new versions, hopefully it's legible enough to read...

I scanned that annual for the 2000AD mega project. I ruined it by bending the spine back too far, but I told myself it was a worthy sacrifice. The day I released my scan another scanner released their own version.
