Right here we go...

Sorry for the delay, ive found all my comics!

I have from 8th October 1983 to 29th November 1986 plus a few Battle after this....

Also I have a Holiday Special and an Annual for 1985.

I am waiting for a few dealers to respond but would rather sell to collector direct if possible for the right offer.

Some of the comics have free sticker packs which some stickers are missing but the packs are there, also issues with free posters have the posters as far as i can see.....

Hopefully you will see photo attatched

John

Hmm, so that a complete set then! 165 comics, a Special and an Annual. I'd estimate around their value at around £200.

Are there are torn / missing / graffitti pages? If not then nearer £250.

Dont think there is any major or much minor damage to be honest I kept things neat and tidy....

The only graffiti is the text "7TS" on top of the front page of every comic as this was put by by the local newsagent and this was the shortform for my address....

Oh yeah, I doubt you'll find a single UK comic from the 80's without that!

What do people think of my estimate? Too much? Too little?

Probably worth comparing prices to completed ebay listings and at www.26pigs.com.

ebay aside "normal" issues generally sell loose for around 50p from dealers, from those ive personally seen anyway. one guy at memorabilia, a couple of shops in sheffield all had them at 50p recently / not so recently...

suppose it depends on the dealer but thats what ive seen for Battle (Action Force) but specials / those complete with stickers and posters etc could go for up to a fiver from what ive seen on the bay...

I'd have thought a dealer would split to sell on, and that'd not really be making most of the idea of a full run, so you'd be looking at the sum of the parts again. I'd pay lots for bonfire night 1983!!!

Forgot to add - at memrobilia I paid a pound a comic. On 26pigs it seems £2.50 is the norm, but they tend to take a while to sell.
