The Squiggoth is the most powerful unit in the Ork army. With 11,000hp, monster high armor, and repairable, this unit can last very long on the battlefield. It can also transport units.

The main disadvantage of the Squiggoth is its size; sometimes you'll have to delete buildings to get him out. Aside from that its ranged weapons are not that accurate (though the Zzzap Gun is relatively accurate by Ork standards, and extremely deadly), and the same goes for its melee, so don't be surprised if it keeps missing.

An interesting tactic with the Squiggoth is placing him on ranged stance and sending him into the front lines or near Looted Tanks. This tactic is effective if the enemy dances his troops around to much, and since the melee attack of the Squiggoth is somtimes an AOE attack rather then direct damage.

Thundershot wrote:I've got the 1st Bad Company, never played it online, but it's not a brilliant single player game...some funny & well put together cut scenes, usual complaints with this game..you get killed very easily compared to the enemy, you can shoot the bad guy half a dozen times @ close range with little or no effect, yet they can kill you with one shot with exactly the same type of weapon, you seem to spend most of your time running into heavy fire just using your "instant health injections"

This is the real bane of my gaming experience recently, Kill-zone two's horrendous for this problem...I've repeatedly emptied whole magazines into a bad guys head @ point blank range, having the effect only of knocking thier helmet off thier head & then go on to kill me will one strike of thier rifle butt whilst I'm reloading  Another problem I have with K.Z.2 is the stupid A.I. buddy/team mate...goes & gets himself shot up, laying screaming "Help-me you Mother F@@ker!" on the floor for you to go & revive him with the electric jolt 1st aid thingy, leading you to wind up dead whilst trying to save him!
What makes it doubly worse, is the fact that if you get killed he just ignores you running off to finish the mission...beside if you leave him long enough he makes a full recovery after a couple of minutes... so whats the bleeding point of getting killed trying to save him? Sorry rant over
as quickfire said it could be your connection, but i expect its just lag and that there probably isn't as many people playing the game now from when it first came out.

im more interested in the online play of the game so im not too bothered if the single player isn't all that as in my opinion it seems game developers are focusing more on the online play now rather than the single player.

hey sundance have you got a nuke yet? i haven't been in one game where i've seen one deployed yet

my highest kill spree to date is only 4. i score most of my points through playing Domination mode and capping the flags, getting the odd kill after a death-streak (come back kills) and pay-back kills. and occassionally from completing the challenges...

i've been nuked three times, i think. the guy who did it on Underpass was stacking up the kills because he got a Harrier reward and then got an Attack Helicopter reward and was stacking up the kills that way.

most kills i've got so far is nine.

I've never played either on-line. It's either sloppy programing or the level settings, I play both on the sort of "experienced/slightly harder than normal" setting on the single player levels...I'd hate to play them on the "Hard Ass/One bad look @ me 'n' you're dead" setting.

I did try a on-line, P.C. based F.P.S game a few years ago during a visit to my cousin's...but being a nu-be(?) I seemed to be killed by a sniper within, like 2 seconds every time of being respawned..or what ever the technical term is that the teenage youth use these days.

I said that I wasn't familiar to the controls (I've never used a keyboard for gaming before only joysticks or controllers) but truth be told my reaction times just aren't what it used to be now that I'm getting on in years
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

it's n00b and BS on your reactions getting slower. it's a matter of A practice and B picking the right weapons for your playing style. on the ole twitch-shooters like Quake 2 and 3 and UT 2004, I favour weapons that spray tons of ammo with a lot of damage. that way i stand more chance of nailing the bunny-hopping bastards who're trying to kill me. On Delta Force Xtreme 2, i tend to use the M16/M203 combo so that i can pop nades into areas where so campy sod may be lurking and so that i can fire 3-round bursts rather than hosing away all my ammo in full auto. it also means you're likely to put a guy down in one or two bursts, making your ammo last longer.

unless i'm on co-op and need the range and accuracy of a sniper rifle or the volume of fire provided by an LMG.

on MW2, i'm sticking with the M4, just because i wanna stick to one weapon and get used to it.
