Face off

Post by Thundershot »

Hi all,
I think this has to have been my best find @ Memorabilia last week, a Dirk Benedict figure for only 50p :-D

With a Cylon in the same room I just couldn't resist this

 & it's only just dawned on me, after many years, that both these action figures are of (basically) the same actor :.

Ha! The Battlestar Gallactica one must have been when he'd eaten too many pies! What a porker! Certainly not the Dirk all the ladies loved!!

I think I remember reading somewhere that Christopher Lloyd had three or four classic 3 3/4" figures made of him. I can't remember what they all were though...? The Klingon from Star Trek III was one.

Bloody good find for 50p by the way!

Most likely Kruge from Star Trek and 2 of Emmett Brown from Back to the Future I and III?
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

What about the Cylon himself? He was done first for Battlestar Galactica, and later was redone for Beast Machines as Tankor

Was one of 'em Chris Lloyd ones the Reverend Jim?
(obscure TAXI reference there, one for the older guys here)

I'm trying to think which actor has had the most Action figures, of different characters they've played, produced over the years now... I can immediately think of a couple who (like Dirk) have had two, like Harrison Ford (Han Solo/ Indy), & Lee Majors (Bionic Man/ Fall Guy) & even Kevin Costner (Water World & Robin Hood)

Stallone must of had quite a few in his time, Rambo, Demolition Man & Rocky..how many big movie toy lines has Arnie been in?
Terminator, Last Action Hero, Commando, Bat-Man(as Mr Freeze) & possibly(?) even Conan...

It'd have to be Harrison Ford.
