here is the pic from Tao Bao courtesy of Hisstank
interesting to note this isnt the final version, the final version has no white shirt underneath and black bottom to the ball jointed head. but id still like to get my hands on it as a variant!

That neck is sure long in that picture. Too bad they didn't catch that before approving the new head sculpt. Even when it's painted black it looks too long. The white shirt definitely makes it look worse.

The White undershirt Red Shadow would make a good Red Vulture ..I think he wore a white T-shirt beneath his uniform in Attack story..it's the look I'll be going for in my Retcon story "Red Dusk "if I ever get around to drawing it.
I always figured The Major had jet black hair that's reason he's got a blue superman sheen in Black Major story I'm colouring ..guess in his later years he bought poor quality "Just For Men " hair dye lol.. I don't buy that Wilder Vaughn could be Shephard the two origin stories differ too much

Perhaps the new
are a group of modern day European based terrorists who, after being inspired by a certain vintage toy collectors web site & forum, have chosen to style thier uniforms & code-names based upon an old toy range produced by Palitoy in the early 80's?

i don't think they hold the menace that the originals have, but that is my outrageously biased opinion.

Indeed, less merchant of menace than merchant of man-bag.

Re: Red Shadow 2010 - Joecon Exclusive figure
Received a bunch of Red Shadows today. They look very cool. The long neck can be overlooked somewhat by positioning the head all the way forward.
I plan to buy a lot more but a few things are wrong with the figure construction. I'm really surprised these figures aren't a lot better when they cost so much.
Unfortunately, many of them are loose in one or both shoulder joints. Some even have very loose arm swivel joints. This isn't very consistent with previous Joecon figure quality.
All of them have poor fitting waist and torso joints. I can live with the loose arm joints but the waist really sucks. The Shadows like to lean when they stand. I don't think it's the o-ring because when I put a bigger one in they still lean.
The head joint is also messed up. It doesn't swivel left and right very well unless it's in a specific position. I took it apart and ball of the neck is not the best size for the torso to allow complete movement. The Red Torch neck easily moves left and right in its torso.
In addition, the foot hole is too small for the given clear stands and the hands are very soft plastic. The right hand has a very small thumb and doesn't hold things that well.

I have the same problem with jammer and its a mixture of the o ring being too tight and a stupid groin choice which doesnt fit the torso. theyve used this piece on loads of later arah figures esp the comic 3 packs and it doesnt seem to fit on most figures. its really annoying and im getting the impression that club set figures in general arent at their usual standard this year. I suppose loose arms means less change of paint wear on the shoulders!
