I'm a bit of both Paul, would prefer to get more EE lads but I seemed to have missed the boat with modellers loft for them. The last 15 I bought were all the rubber faced ones. I was a mid to late 70's kid with these and some in the 80's too. Then AF took hold.paulitoy wrote:-
I find it interesting that you have a lot of rubber-faced AM's Paul?
I'm an eagle-eye-only guy as its what I knew when I was growing up.
I sold on all my rubber-faced ones and replaced them all with EE as that just seemed 'right' for me.
I take it you don't have a preference over them? Many AM collectors are strongly one or the other depending on if you grew up in the '70's or early '80's......?

My Display Cabinets
Re: My Display Cabinets
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Thanks Lads.
The shelves are adjustable but not by much.

EE is cool, my second VAM was EE, but flocked head's are it for me. I only have 1, a hybrid of my original two, but he's the king of the Action Man shrine;

Man I have to get new pics up. The collection has got somewhat bigger.

I'm still on the hunt for the SAS uniform with the smooth vest and the black pistol. This was the one I sold all those years ago, still no joy!

Re: My Display Cabinets
Yeah, he's my one and lonely. I did get 4 other SAS uniforms in the same job lot, one wound up in Yorkshire iirc. Also got 1 and a bit SAS para's too.
I got a massive lot for sod all and it was just a fluke, I happened to look at the time it was listed and nabbed tit within half an hour. I just scored some Chopper pilot and Zargonite bits for $6au a couple of weeks ago too. Never expected that.
ebay is like Lotto, you gotta be in it to win it. As Eddie pointed out. For now I'm trying real hard to keep out of it

Re: My Display Cabinets
Some of the other collectables that went in to cabinet2 in the living room. There are three more shelves of these but will need to take some better photo's. They are from the Corgi Forward March Series which was cancelled half way through.
