My Display Cabinets

Post by paul463 »

Well Argos have just phoned the cabinets will be here in about an hour!!!! The excitement is almost palpable! Got a double door one coming for the "Command Centre" and a single door for the living room. The living room one will house my lead soldier collection (Corgi) while the double door one will finally let me get my loose stuff on display (well some of it any way!).

Will post some pictures later in the week when they are bult up and stacked with palitoy goodness!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

 I did that too! And then you find annoying things happen. Like the Laser Exterminator is just slightly too long to fit in straight, so has to be displayed diagonally. Or where on earth to put the ATC.... All part of the fun though mate! A good few days will no doubt be had! Just tell the Argos blokes to wipe their feet! When they brought mine they got mud everywhere! Fair enough i did live on a very muddy farm at the time, but that's no excuse! :-D

Look forward to some piccies!!!

Cheers Eddie it certainly is! Decided to go with AM in the cabinet, my Shads are in it at the moment reckon they will be shifted by the end of the week! So will need another one to get the AF out (and of course a bigger house to put them in!!)

ha ha i'm planning to fit some more shelves in the near future, i find the planning stage as satisfying as the doing stage as sad as that probably sounds.

The old cabinet shuffle, a truely great way to spend a few hours. I'm getting to the stage where the cabinets are too small, which is just compounded by the fact that the house is too small now too. Anyone got a 4 bedroom mansion going cheap?

You should probably get yourself a warehouse ODB with all that Star Wars stuff of yours ;-)
