Behind the scenes of North Sea Peril

The story is an abreviatated and greatly modified story i'd written years earlier, in the original story a Special Boat Service team has to deal with the hijacking of the worlds biggest and most valuable North Sea gas rig. The terrorists were originally of Irish nationality and their motive was to stall if not end the Northern Irish Peace Process, it was'nt revealed until the end that they were a mixed group of Republicans and Loyalists. So when BFTB started doing fanfic's i thought it was a perfect story that could be adapted into an AF story and who better than the Black Major as the head villain. Like the original story the leader isn't totally on the same page as his deputy, this time Red Laser, although this is yet to be played out. One other major new point is the use of laser mines, this is something "borrowed" from the Lewis Collin film The Commander, i think it is a perfect weapon that Red Laser has developed in the years since he was last seen. In bringing back SAS Force i had to come up with a way to re-introduce them but also explain what the main characters had been upto since the late 80's, so if Buckingham & Jones had fought during the Falklands war then they may have also fought in Gulf War I. There it is then, hope you enjoy the return of Eagle, Stakeout, Quickfire, Sparrowhawk, Chopper and Baracuda.
