Re: shagged pc
Blimey! lots of uses of "riddled" in that sentence that culminates in talks of the gentlemans region! I'm off to dip mine in bleach, just in case...... (the PC that is! Not LittleSteveD)

id just send stormy in...SteveD wrote:I'm guessing after four years and three house moves mine might benefit from a clean too by the sounds of things. That could explain why it tends to crash when asking it to do the incredibly complex task of opening an Internet browser, unless it's had chance to have a good think about it first!
So, if I'm not mistaken, I just pull of them clumsy looking wires out of it, pop them to one side and then hoover it yeah? Or ram the hoover nozzle in the CD drawer and whack it up to full power?

OK, don't dismantle your PC unless you're confident you can rebuild it...

Re: shagged pc
I did clean my old P.C. once by using a compressor (set to a low pressure) to blow the dust out...now I don't know if it was just a coincidence or not, but shortly after that the computer stopped recognising & playing films from D.V.D's, it would play music & other types of c.d's fine, but trying to play a movie from D.V.D., the drive would spin like crazy & a message would pop up saying something like no disc found.
