Memorabilia's not overly expensive Irony, I'm just a bit tight fist ed I think..just resent having to pay extra for parking on top of the entry fee (but the cars in nice safe car park with free shuttle buses so it's worth it), it's a good day out with plenty to see & do, even better if you're going with a bunch of mates & making a weekend of it. The dealers are more specialized too, so they cater for the show with related stock, plus you get free entertainment like video games firms having booths, the last one had a Robot Wars arena, live wrestling matches & a small stage with star guests giving interviews & talks.

They are great ain't they Shauny :-D Do the adventure women have names? I keep calling the leggy "swim suit" one Felicity for some unknown reason :-?
I wish I'd picked up that Fisher Price Claw-o-tron(?) figure, that I passed on, now too... :-(

I think the toy fairs every 2 months or so...I check it. Last time I went Indiana Tree had a stall, but he was missing this time

Major Bren Derlin to be precise, he was released in the later modern line but the generic vintage Rebel Commander was physically based on the actor that portrayed him even though the Card he came on had another actor on it completely.

So, were all the background characters "named" in the original films, or were they all named years later by the fans & people responsible for such nonsense as the Wookieepedia?

I think some of the human characters had names but for the most part they were nameless extras really. The novels and screenplays gave them some names but it wasn't until the Expanded Universe came along that most of them were given names. I think Derlin was one such example.

some of the background characters' names are from the scripts, some are from novelisations or the NPR radio plays, some from RPGs and some from later novels. it's a mix.

I've resisted posting this picture for two days now. I can't stop myself. It's you fault for mentioning FP Adventure People in the first place T-shot!!! Here's some favourites from my own collection.

I've got a bunch of space ones too. I must dig them out.
