Stakeout Custom figure

Post by Fant0mas »

Evening all-well I've been a busy bunny-Here is my latest SAS custom for you all-feedback and comments all welcome.

As with my Z force figs I wanted to have an original head onto a 25th Anni body for the articulation

so i cut off the head of an original SAS fig, cut and hollowed it out to match the 25th Anni heads and popped it on

I also wanted an alternative head for Stakeout- I may redo this and just use an old Eagle figure head, but for now I plonked on a ROC Snake eyes head and placed the gas mask over.

The whole figure is a ROC Snake eyes Paris chase-the one with the long coat- took the coat off, painted the arms(still need to add the SAS logo) and that was that. Stakeout's trademark shotgun was quickly pieced together using bits and bobs ,again I may redo this or at least paint it, but I wanted to get him on the site.

I will also ssoon be doing Quickfire and possibly most of SAS force in this style-keep 'em peeled!

The webbing is from 25th Anni Stalker and the backpack is just one from my spares

hope you like him!

cheers

Looks great :)
You have a natrual talent for just piecing these together and producing superb results.
Man I love those gas masks!
Where can I source them from without shelling out for the figures.

Hi all

cheers for the comments-ta muchly!

re the gas masks I've tried to look about but with no luck so far-

all I've been doing to trying to get the figs as cheap as poss but with the intention of using the fig as well so I'm not wasting my hard earned groats!!

BUT-do you think with the combined resources and skills on the forum that someone could make copies of the masks? it could just be the front of the mask and no straps? what do we all think? is it a possibility?

Could we ask about? can I ask anymore questions?????!?!?!

Tell me what you think chaps...

cheers

Excellent costoms mate - these and the z boys.

Re the gas masks - any chance of a close up pic front and back? Then I'll see if it's something I could maybe make as I'm on doing a new batch of moulds as we speak.

Baron - you'll like this - this weeks agenda is to try a z force radio op hat! Out of rubber.

Hay all-please see pics of mask below-I hope I've covered every angle that you need Steve!

The masks are from the ROC Pit Trooper,or I believe you can get the mask with the 25th Shockblast(?) the SWAT GI Joe figure -or with an exlusive ToysRus ROC Duke set (USA only)

I really hope this can be done-it would be great!!

anyhoo pics posted let me know if I can do anything else

cheers all
