we all love a reboot :-)

sorry, couldn't resist.

I hope the Joe team saves up some cash before the next one, hate to think they might drive around $6 million dollar Accelerator Suits in a transit van again :-?

I have to agree with Kraken. Little Humby loves the movie and although Duke is one of his favourites I can see why he favours Cobra. I felt that the Cobra characters were alot stronger and more interesting than the Joes. Anyone figure out why Brendan Fraser was in the film for all of what must have been 5 mins?

hey,i am!

im looking forward to the next movie but just hope the joes feel more like the joes i know and love... liked what they did with the cobra characters and hope to see more of my favourites but felt more than a little let down by the good guys...
So does that make you The Kraken Wakes 2.0? :-D I know what you mean about the Joes they were lacking compared to Cobra.

As a favour to the director Humby? Did you notice as well that benny from the Mummy was playing Dr Mindbender in Rex's flashback?
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

They promised that if he appeared, they would release him from his contract for more Mummy sequels

Dennis Quaid ready for a G.I. Joe sequel, with one condition

Dennis Quaid, who played Gen. Hawk in this summer's hit G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, told us exclusively that he's ready for the sequel. "I'm definitely on board if they do another one," Quaid said in an exclusive interview. "I don't know if they have a script yet, but I'm definitely interested."

Fans may have had some issues with Stephen Sommers' summer blockbuster G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, but the hard, cold facts are undeniable: That "real American hero" has raked in almost $300 million this summer, and Joe will absolutely be back for an encore.

SCI FI Wire caught up with Gen. Hawk himself today for his take on Joe's success and the possibilities of a sequel. "[G.I. Joe was] exactly what it was meant to be," Quaid told SCI FI during an exclusive interview. "Stephen Sommers really knows what he's doing, and he really hit a home run with that."

It's unclear whether Quaid has already signed on for a sequel, but he did tell us he's on board when they're ready. You heard it here first, Mr. Sommers.

The veteran actor does have one special request for Gen. Hawk in G.I. Joe 2. "I want to get out of the pit," says Quaid. "I want to ride a horse and shoot a gun. I want a horse with an accelerator suit."

Has that not always been the case? We all go daft on here for the Red Shadows - not so much Z Force etc (hell, I'm sure I'm the only person ever who has army built Space Force!).

Same again with Cobra - folks army build! Bottom line - we like the bad guys! So good to hear the little 'un is keeping the tradition going Humby!

I agree, I've got a large :space: collection! Would also like to have a larger :fforce:
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
