My humble Star Wars Collection

Post by stkhlmdk »

I had a request from another DK member in here to take some photos of my small collection of vintage SW figures which I am proud to say have been bought and played with by yours truely back in the 80´s :-D Here is an overview of them and then follow this link (http://www.action-force.dk/starwars) to see individual photos of each figure + some extra goodies ;-)

I really like the proper Tie Fighter. I only have Vaders (as, it seems, do most people - same story with the battle damaged X Wing - everyone put the battle damaged stickers on!) but I think the original one looks better.

I cant remember where I got it from, think I may have "borrowed" from a friend while playing back in the days and have stayed nice and safe with my ever since :-D The wings still eject with full force and I even think both the sound and lights still work but havent tested it yet.

Nope, its either staying as a cool little childhood memory or risk being traded for some cash or AF/GI stuff :-)

There is nothing better than a loose Star Wars collection and its even better that they are all your original figures from back in the day.

Never part with them as you will regret it always.

Yeah, on the other hand they may help me fund the remaining few £ for my USS F. so its a hard choice ;-) One of my friends parted with his SW collection just before they released the new movies and he has kicked himself many of times over the small amount he got on that sale.
