Karate Kid Collection (lost treasue found?)

Post by stkhlmdk »

Hi, when I was looking for my Star Wars I came across a box with the text Karate Kid on the outside and I do remember having some figures and a large yellow house. To my great surprice I found all of this  Not sure if I may have stumbled upon a lost treasure of some sort but I am sure going to look for the house on my mothers attic when I visit her next because this almost look like a complete Karate Kid bar a few figures that I saw on a cardback.

I never knew there were KK figures, they look like they got melvined. ;-)

I found my Asterix book collection last visit home, I thought they had been binned when the move back to NZ. Also found my Dr Who book collection too. Attics are awesome.

He-he, what I find impressive is that they still work 100%, being able to kick and punch just as they had just been taken out of their packing :-) Even the magnets on the Cannery Set still "grabs" on to the sign when being launched from the platform.

They came with puzzles Mark like catch the fly with chopsticks from the first two films. They look great stk set out like that it 's a nice collection.

There are not that many collectors for this type of stuff, so I doubt it will be worth a lot, but that is most definately a lost treasure! Toys are really in very good shape!

The Chopsticks are at the top right side of the first picture, even if the fly is a MONSTER I failed to catch it with the oversized sticks when I just tried :-D

I dont remember these at all, and have never seen the sets before (which is quite unusual as I'm nown for collecting any random crap from the 80's!)!

Look in excellent condition though, and I'm sure there will be some folks out there collecting them?
