RAF Officer

Post by scoobydie »

Not sure where to place this guy in the customs section so I`ve popped him
in here :)
Just a repainted Black Major but the cheeky chappy seemed to convert quite well.

Bugger you got in before me mate! Like it! This was on my to do list. One thing though the officers peaks are blue like the uniform. The ones of us that really work for a living have the shiny peaks! :-)

Bugger!, thanks for that.
Just picked up my uniform the other week too, another that works for a living but in the land of the cadets :)

Looks good Andy. Just like the old 1980's "Thunderbird " Style Jacket.

Congrats on the Queens Commission! Lets see if you can beat my record of two counts of conduct unbecoming an Officer!!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

The first one is publishable on the net the second well....that's not!

In 1997 I allegedly damaged a service vehicle and failed to report the damage. The damaged allegedly occurred when I collided with a speed bump at 5mph (it cracked the sump - never in a month of Sunday's). I'll deny this until the day I die! An Airman had the car out after me and it broke down on the way back from Edinburgh. So because I hadn't reported going over a speed bump heavily my intergrity as an Officer was called in to question. The boss I had then didn't like me too much.

Cheers guys, it wasn`t a commision but a promotion to Adult ATC SGT.
Have a fun week coming up in Cranwell in march to complete the training .
Spent an interesting sunday marching around a parade square for the first time in 16 years to see if we still
remember how its done.
Definately not happy with the 3hr shoe polishing sessions though !!
