so, as you will have seen, I'm writing an AM fan-fic. I'm using the name 'Alex Mann' for one, along with 'Tom Stone' - the black VAM - 'Natalie Poole' and one called Joe - named as a reference/homage to GI Joe, although he's British. I've also used 'Jack' as a homage/reference to Jacques from the Extreme AM.
now, for the other team members, i was planning to use random common names and one i picked was Adam. However, it's bugging me to have an Adam and Joe becuase i don't want to use 'Adam and Joe' together.
So, does anyone think I should use the names from France's Action Joe team or have any other suggested names?
for the record, the AJ names used were:
Joe
Sam
Bob
Bill
Tom
Ted
obviously, Joe and Tom are out, but I could use one of the others.
The other names I'm using are:
Fiona (fighter pilot)
Ignatius Mack (refuses to be called by his first name)
Jim (fighter pilot/navigator)
Paul (helo loadmaster/door-gunner )
Ed (helo co-pilot/gunner)
Trevor (helo pilot)
Action Man names
Re: Action Man names
i've decided to use 'John Steel' in place of Adam. the name's a reference/homage to the German 'Action Team' figures who included Hard Rock (srsly), Tom Stone, John Steel and Bob Power.
i decided since i already had Joe and Tom, I'd use John from Germany...

Tom Stone was based on the character Jesse Blake from The Wild Geese, or more precise, based on a few leaked pictures whilst filming in South Africa.
Re: Action Man names
interesting to know.
my version's a former Royal Tank Regiment soldier turned SAS commando, who comes in to the AM team after their first mission goes slightly awry...
