, the re-issues are fun to build & have better modern electronic speed controllers..but if you're going to run them I'd seriously advise in replacing the standard plastic bearings, that come with the kits, with metal ball bearings..not only do they improve the performance but also enhance the running times.

The Hornet was the one I really lusted over as a kid, but never had
, so I rushed out to buy it when it was re-issued
..Then Tamiya went & re-issued the T'Shot,

) old T'Shot over the last couple of years.. it's a runner but still needs a few new bit's, including a set of tyres. It's been fitted with a modern electronic speed controller & has ball bearings all round, it fly's even with the standard (original) "silver can" 540 type motor.
