I preferred Geoff Senior's work too but it was a good spread by Dan Reed.

Geoff Senior absolutely rocks, loved his Transformers, Zoids, Action Force, Dragon's Claws and Death's Head.

I was unsure about Dan Reed for a long time but he grew on me, I think it was his Cybertronian zombies in City of Fear that won me over,

Lol DA! The game looks really good because it is based more on the Transformers we grew up with and not the crap Michael Bay is putting out.

I'd have just tolerated the ugly designs (and I do sometimes to get the figures, that are somewhat less ugly) if not for the ugly plot. Hero? The human kid. Villains? the human agents. Transformers? at the background. Oh, and there's a battle. Bay didn't think about Transformers as characters, just as giant things that fight and cannot be the protagonists on their own movie.
