I bet the game itself will be awful but, from a design & story point of view, this is more like the Gen 1 Transformers I know & love..

those designs look to be based on the Dreamwave Enemy Within comics, looks sweet!

Agree with that. Lot better than the PS2 Transformer game I have.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

It reminds me of a spectacular two page spread from the U.K. comic, the one where 'cons & 'bots unite to take on Unicron :-?
It's been a long time since I've read the story, so I be completely wrong.. but I definately remember a two page spread with like 200+ Transformers featured..think it may of been drawn by Andrew Wildman?

Geoff Senior was my fave T/F artist, his art style just suited the line so well I thought.
