What? That's really bizarre. I've been out in a rural area for a month (and another two months at least) so I haven't been onto DDP at all. What is the problem with their site? Is the company experiencing difficulties, because the first chapter of Sins of the Mother was one of my favorite stories in recent years, and I was really looking forward to having a stack of subsequent issues when I got home.

thats a good question and it would be all speculation as to why, so I wont answer. BUt joereloaded.com is ran by the comics military advisor Phil Kost and all the DDP people are members there too so I thought it would be just a natural place to go
personally I think if the link that said forums on thier site just led straight to one of the JOE Sites out there, it might be actually a good thing
might leviate some workload on DDP and might get the fans more involved
I think joereloaded.com is the site that deserves it most, but at the same time I think perhaps going to Joebattlelines or joesightings or even mastercollector might be a good idea as those places can be anti-comic places and may turn some of those goes around.
get them more involved and perhaps they will like the comic more??
the only problem with that is all the other titles wouldnt have a place to go, not that there is that much talk on the other titles

Given your current sig Eisenblut I assume that the DDP Shad-pussy issue would mean the foreclosure of their forums was a good thing, nichts?

Other than things Joe related. One thing that I really liked about the DDP message board was one could also get in touch with Tim Seeley about his noteworthy book, HACK/slash. As some of you may know, HACK/slash is the story of slasher hunters, Cassie Hack, and her companion the monstrous Vlad(think Jason Voorhees gone good). The pair trak down ,and exterminate those undead serial slashers that you'd find populating the horror section of your local Blockbuster. Great book, and highly recommended. So good in fact it'll be getting the cinema treatment ,and rampaging through theaters next year hopefully. It was always fun reading the replies from the wonderful Mr. Seeley. Hopefully the board will start up agin pretty doon.
