Which keyboard for gaming?

Post by sammypetter »

I use the Logitech Wave keyboard, it has a slight bump in the center of it, I think its great. There is another one out there with a huge bump in it, it is ridiculous. But for an all round performance I think its work looking into.

I also use the Logitech MX Revolution, that also works great.

Let us hear what others say......

I am using the mrk1 Logitech G15 which is getting more and more beaten up as time goes by. Not that keen on their newer G-versions but may end up buying one anyway when this ones gets "retired" from active service :-)

I've made the transition to the Xbox 360 handset, I've found too much mouse use has left me with a permanetly cracking shoulder joint - no joke! I still need the keyboard for Strategy games though.

But as for keyboards I will only ever use my vintage IBM clicky, they've never been equalled, like the Mercedes of keyboards, each key with a metal spring as opposed ot a flimsy bit of plastic.

Rat on the other hand *, I swear by the GM-4200 Predator. I just wish it came ergonomic.

* punintentional.

in another lifetime, I was part of the team that helped brainstorm and guide the aesthetic design of the Eclipse gaming keyboard by Saitek

that and several other peripherals like flight pedals etc, hell, I just looked up on the website and I'm still pictured in the case study section, untangling gamepads in one pic and on screen sat observing the focus group in another:
