My first [and probably only] Toltoys moc!

Post by paulitoy »

-

This arrived today.

I'm sure some of you saw it on the 'bay a few weeks ago.

My only Toltoys, probably, just wanted the one. Though I said that with Hasbro AF....

I'm sure Chopper will approve!

Oooo ! I approve!! And I got in before Chopper! Very nice indeed!!! I had a Toltoys Skimobile MIB for all of a few days before I passed it on to it's end (and far more deserving) recipient.

I see he's already been through the AFA, so taking it he was a little bit costly?

The real test of "just wanting one" comes if you ever see another one for sale.....

beautiful Paul! Was that under AF on ebay or some other sort of wording? I always seem to miss the good stuff!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

No, it was under the regular AF/Joe listings Paul

A very shrewd observation Steve. Spoken with experience!

The figure was a bargain .

I think it was £65 and postage.

To get something AFA'd is about £30 quid, so the figure was only about £30 quid which is pretty good!

That has to be the most f*cking gorgeous MOC I have ever seen. Wow man, I shudder to think what its worth. Breaker was my first EVER AF/JOE/AM 3.75 figure so he is a truly special chap indeed. Fantastic score and I am OH SO JEALOUS, Paul. ;-)

You shrewdly observed this a few month's back Steve.

I guess this photo gives the real answer.....

They are repro cardbacks courtesy of the extreme talent and kindness of Gazmondo but you would never know as they are so good.

My Christmas pressies have arrived early. Very many thanks Gary!

Ha ha!!! Excellent! They look really cool! After extensive study the only way I can really tell the repro's from the real is the colouring of the Toltoys logo. Is that intentional??

And I love the idea of "Xmas Presents to Myself". This is the only year in memory that I can safely say the first "item" bought when I went Xmas Shopping was not actually something for me! It's as if I go with the mentality of needing to buy myself something as a bribe to open the floodgates before I will spend on others. Not this year though! This year I have been very good indeed!!*

* largely because the good lady was with me when I stood lusting after the remote controlled helicopters and remarking about how good they would look in red and black, and she then proceeded to drag me out of the shop!
