I'm thinking now of widening the hole on the Wolverine turret and losing the chair altogether.

Upon closer inspection this green wolverine is a painted SAS version!

Does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning it up? I was going to paint it SAS colours LOL

I dont know how feasible it would be to remove the paint.
Small amounts are easily removed by soapy water and an old toothbrush.
For something this large, you may need paint stripper/thinner- which may tarnish or remove the original colours.
Your best bet is to just paint over it again in black imo

It's happened again. I won a Destro figure in a joblot only to find that he was a repainted Red Jackal! 45 mins of careful scratching with a stanley and he is restored.
