Regarding music, my taste covers a very wide spectrum. Any top five will not do right to the ones I cannot write down.

Top of mind music I could play at any given moment:

Leftfield
The Police
Madness
The Prodigy
Kraftwerk

BTW, there's more than just bands.

Good call Jaye - and good selections too! And Ross - excellent thread! Possibilities are almost endless! (albums, songs, films, film characters, cars, places - we'll be here for months!)

Anyway, to my lists - sorry taken so long, I like loads of sorts of music so taken forever to whittle it down to 5 - I could have had 5 from each genre! At the mo, we'll go with these:

1.Soulwax (for their mix albums and remixes, rather than band stuff)
2.Ludacris - my favourite rapper of all time (Dr Dre and Jay Z are tied for second, with Dizzee Rascal my fave UK rapper)
3.Meatloaf - the mans a legend. A portly legend, but a legend nonetheless
4.Johnny Cash - quite simply, the Man.
5. Jurrasic 5

I love alll the old school Hip Hop too - Sugar Hill Gang, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5 - all the pioneers - but I couldn't decide between them!

Comic characters wise, I'm all Marvel I'm afraid (although was tempted by the wholesome Dan Dare):

1. Spidey
2. Deadpool
3. Captain America
4. The Silver Surfer
5. The Black Cat..... wait, no, Spiderwoman (Jessica Drew one), erm, actually, no - Rogue.... no, she's gone crap now .... ARGH!!! I can't decide!!!! Squirrel Girl!!!

I was definitely going to put :storm: in there, but I guessed we might have a "Favourite AF Characters List" at some stage.

Wow, a lot of Pommy cash fans, never saw that comming. Personally I'm more of a Weylon Jennings fan. BTW, saw a lovely reddy/orange Dodge Charger today, Steve.

THE BALADEER!!!! Waylon Jennings is cool, but Johnny is The Man!

Was the Charger suitably stickered up??? I still hold out hopes of one day owning one. One day.

Is that the working title of a Jasmine St Claire movie? ;-)

EDIT - if anyone Googles that to see who she is do it through Wikipedia - dont want anyone getting fired from work on my account!

I meant to say: there's more than just bands, you also have singer/songwriters, producers, etc.
