Then somebody should make :baron: and :major: as Playmobil figures to recreate that scene ;-)

Playmobaronl! The Black Mobil! Great idea! LOL

Squaddie, the topic has been bubbling under for years, so sadly it has no real home of it's own... needless to say over five-odd years all we have basically achieved is:

"I really want a Z Force Hercules!"
"Yeah, me too!"
"What about using this?"
"Mmmm, nah, not really."
"True."

Law of averages states it will happen eventually. I am the tenacious sort.

thanks for taking the time to pull out all those threads Baron!

that was an interesting read especially the topic on the remoulding of the AF figures, did you ever think about going to an independent toy factory or plastics firm with the originals so they could mould from them, even talk them into releasing them...the toy makers that is and if all the AF fans put in some kind of donation that may help to sweeten it even if they didn't get no return, just the figures re-released alone would be reward enough well it would for me anyway and maybe a few freebies for all the donaters? but god knows i have no idea how the toy people work....well i have a rough idea as long as its a money maker then they're all in.

christmas holidays are getting near and i have a few ideas for customs now :-D

I think that would be the quickest possible way to a Cease and Desist order!

Presumably they were either destroyed or presented to the Realm along with the other Palitoy stuff. If anyone knows, it'll be Dave.

just had to google that Cease and Desist order bit as i know very little on the legal terms :-? sorry i was meaning if you had permission to remake them the legal way, i may have missed this bit but did hasbro actually say they owned any of the original palitoy items figures etc that they didn't use in their toyline when they took over?

Yes, they own all of the Palitoy IP (Intellectual Property).

And my position is that if we take matters into our own hands, we kill any hopes of working with Hasbro for an official release.
