Ground Assault custom

Post by humby248 »

I've been plannig this guy for a while and finally got round to doing him. I have always liked the :ground: figure but I do think that he would have looked better if Palitoy had copied the Action Man one more closely.

Pic looks a tad orange, but the figure looks good. I like the camo work you do.

Was he a russian soldier I remember the original one having a red star on his helmet? Nice work though Humby.

The orange is just the lighting and it was an Eagle on his helmet Ironblood. Believe it or not the hardest part was the visor!

The visor is a piece of transparent plasticard colured in with a felt tip. I have my one surviving Action Man put aside in the hope that one day I maybe able to get the Ground Assault stuff for him.

Space Ranger
Para Attack
Pommy MP
Jungle fighter
Pommy soldier

(I got em all, and a few more ;-)
