Without wishing to threadjack (but then going on to sort of do so anyway) what other "wrong coloured" figures like this chap are rare?

I only ask as I have a MISB Funskool Wild Weasel (Red Wolf), and am already planning what I can do with the £1000. Or the £5?

Anyone got any ideas?

Wow, were these things that rare back then or was this a very wise piece of prediction buying?

Either way good on 'yer!)

NO it was really rare then too. It was in the Lees toy review article this was the 2nd one I ever saw (the first one sold for 900 then I paid 700 for this one) I know when this one's gone I'll never see another one (I haven't seen one on ebay in 17 years)

there were way more gawkers than bidders so either there are way more of these in collections I don't know about or lots of people just had to see how high it went.
I can't complain about the final price though

SteveD if you look at the stores section of ebay (US) and use gijoe india as keywords sort high to low to see what is common and isn't

also yojoe's international archive doesn't have prices but does have lots of off pieces argentina brazil and india have the most stuuf other than UK. as a collector of joe in general I can say AF is the only line I want everything for (still need a blach hyena with the transition stripes decals)
