And I am sorry if YO Joe didn't response after you sent in scans, I get lots of submissions and frankly if it was in the last month and half the Joe movie was taking up a lot of my time, so it is possible that I missed your email or it got lost in the submissions section, which happens from time to time.

Anyway, YoJoe.com has a big international Joe comic section, which the Blood for the Baron is a major partner in, and has a Dutch section also , also (http://www.yojoe.com/comics/so/) If you see any mistakes or missing books please tell me.

And as the Baron said I am always on the hunt for foreign issues. And willing to trade.

This was the text of my email:

Dear Yojoe,

When browsing your website on comics, i came across the dutch comics called "Speciale opdrachten". I noticed some covers were missing. Since i got the complete Dutch series, i made scans of two covers. So this are the covers of issues 9 and 11. The scans are quite big, but i do not know how to resize them, so perhaps you can do this as you please. Aslo i added extended information about the issues.

About issue 9:
As you state on the website it has the translated versions of GI Joe special missions issue 17 and 18.
The first story is calles "Nachtklus", the second story "De afhaaldienst".

Year of release 1989.

It also contains (order of battle) dossiers of:
Dokter hersenspoeler (aka Dr Mindbender) - order of battle 3 Havik (aka Hawk)- order of battle 1 Ijsberg (aka Iceberg)- order of battle 1 Lady Jaye (original name)- order of battle 1

On the back cover it had the pin up from the dossier of Havik (aka Hawk).


About issue 11:
On the website you state it has the translated versions of GI Joe special missions issue 21 and 22.
This is partly correct.

The first story is called "De onderwereld" which is indeed the translated version of issue 21.

The second story is called "Een hels paradijs", which is the translated version of the story called "Gunships". This was printed in Action force monthly issue 5: http://www.yojoe.com/comics/afm/afm05.shtml The story was reprinted in European missions issue 5: http://www.yojoe.com/comics/em/em5.shtml

The third story is called "Verraad!", which is the translated version of the story called "Betrayal". This was first printed in Action force monthly issue 4: http://www.yojoe.com/comics/afm/afm04.shtml The story was reprinted in European missions issue 4: http://www.yojoe.com/comics/em/em4.shtml

On the first page it states that it has translated versions of Special missions issue 21 and Action force 4 and 5. Action force should ben Action force monthly...

It also contains (order of battle) the dossier of:
Skystriker (original name) - order of battle 4

On the back cover it had the pin up from the dossier of Skystriker.


I do not know if this extended information is usefull for your website, but i thought it might be handy...
If you would like to have extended info on the other issues, i could send them to you as well. But for now i must quit because in 6 hours i have to go to work for a couple of days... So i can get back on this next week.

I also have the 2 missing omnibus issues (2 and 5) for scans. I could also scan the other issues (regular and omnibus) if you would like me to, because some scans now on the website are a bit small... The extended info and scans will take me some time, but i would be glad to do it.

Just today, i realised that my collection was incomplete!!! Omnibus 6 also has been published. Luck was on my side, cause i just bought it. But this means you mis 3 onmibus covers on Yojoe!, but i can fix that. If you want me to send the issue 9 and 11 covers again, thats no problem.

I you want me to check the information on Yojoe, and correct it where needed, i can do that as well.
